Day by Day Itinerary
- Arrival in Arusha. Overnight at Zawadi House (Bed & Breakfast).
- Drive to Marangu gate for permits, then proceed to Rongai gate.
- Begin trek through lush forest to First Cave Camp (2100m).
- Trek through open moorlands with views of Kenya and Mawenzi Peak.
- Overnight at Third Cave (3800m).
- Acclimatization day at Third Cave (3800m).
- Trek through the lunar desert between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
- Overnight at Kibo Hut (4703m).
- Summit trek at midnight, reaching Uhuru Peak (5896m).
- Descend to Horombo Hut (3720m) for the final night.
- Descend to Marangu gate and return to Arusha.
